Because inmates do not have access to the internet, Family members can complete the application online for free. Click on “List An Inmate,” and provide the required information and submit. There is a fee if we complete the application for the inmate. However, there is no guarantee that an inmate will receive pen-pal correspondence.

If the inmate can receive emails, it will be noted on the individual inmate’s profile with the appropriate procedures.

You can browse for free or create an account. To create an account, click on the sign-up button, and provide a valid email, and generate a username and password. Once an account is created click on, “Log in” and browse or purchase profiles. Subscriber must be at least 18 years old and have read and agreed with the website’s terms and conditions

As a consenting adult, it is your choice to send inmates funds or gifts. Understandably, you agree to use common sense and accept all responsibilities concerning your interaction with an inmate and in your personal decisions in sending inmates funds and gifts and hold harmless of any present or future losses/injuries. A majority of the prisons allow funds to be deposited into an inmate's account and allow inmates to receive books from publishers. Use caution when asked to allocate funds into an account not related to the inmate. Check with individual prisons concerning their policies and procedures of sending funds and gifts before proceeding.

No, we only use the information provided by the inmate. The subscriber can verify the information by going onto the prison’s website where the inmate is currently incarcerated.

Inmate convictions are not listed, except when requested once the listing post. The responsibility rests with the subscriber to seek the desired information before commencing a pen pal friendship with an inmate. The subscriber can obtain the information online through the individual State or Federal prison inmate public record website or other online services and resources offering similar provisions.

States have different mailing requirements. Please check with the individual institution to determine what is/is not allowed to include their policies and procedures concerning the receipt and rejecting of mail.
